SHELBYVILLE, Ind. (May 13, 2021) – Majestic Harbor, California’s leading freshman sire of 2020, now sits atop the California second crop sire list for 2021 with the victories by his 3-year-old fillies Lieutenant Kitty and Diamond Solitaire in the maiden special weight and the feature race on today’s card at Indiana Downs.
Lieutenant Kitty, who had placed in both her starts last season at two, was the 1/5 favorite to defeat the field of maidens in the 3rd race, and she rewarded the faithful with a dominating win over the mile and seventy yard trip. Taken off the pace in the early going, it was obvious she was raring to go whenever jockey Fernando De La Cruz asked. That call came heading into the far turn and from there, the contest was over. He sat chilly as she opened up with every stride and came home sixteen and one-half lengths in front of the rest.
Lieutenant Kitty race for the partnership of Deerfield Farm Racing, Dan Ison, Charles A. Bebber, and Lavallee Racing and she is trained by Robert Pincins. Bred by David W. Osborne and Loren Hebel-Osborne, she was produced by the winning Chief Seattle mare, Corrine.

Three races later, her stakes-placed cropmate Diamond Solitaire was also favored to take down the featured one mile, main track allowance and she did not disappoint. Midpack with little running room for the first six furlongs, she found a path coming off the final turn. Asked for her best by jockey Alex Archard, she responded with a strong stretch run to to win by two and one-half lengths.
Racing for the Diamond Solitaire Partnership, she is trained by Stephen Lyster. Out of the Sightseeing mare, Diamond Seeker, she was bred by David W. Osborne, Loren Hebel Osborne and Warren Gene McLean.
