Miss Sunset Tough in Fleet Treat

DEL MAR, Calif. (July 27, 2017) – Multiple stakes winner Miss Sunset is entered in Sunday’s $150,000 Fleet Treat Stakes for Golden State Series eligible 3-year-old fillies at Del Mar.

Alpenhorn is by Emire Way, out of the Swiss Yodeler mare Alpine Echo, was bred by owner Heinz Steinmann and is trained by Mike Harrington. She has two wins in three starts, earnings of $70,200 and is coming off a consecutive wins.

Lady Espionage is by Lucky Pulpit, out of the Crystoclearance mare Mme. Espionage, was bred by James Mann, is owned by Silver Creek Stables and is trained by Michele Dollase. She has one win in six starts, earnings of $58,065 and is coming off a third in a June 24 allowance.

All of a Sudden is by Grazen, out of the Maria’s Mon mare Stash, was bred by owner Nick Alexander and is trained by Steve Miyadi. She has one win in four starts, earnings of $46,720 and is coming off a fifth in a June 16 optional claimer.

Miss Sunset is by Into Mischief, out of the Trippi mare Tuscan Sunset, was bred by Premier Thoroughbreds & Alan Klein, is owned by Klein or Lebherz and is trained by Jeff Bonde. She has four wins in eight starts, earnings of $303,930 and is coming off a second in the May 29 Melair.

Please Do is by Comic Strip, out of the Ski Chief mare Eclisse, was bred by Dr. & Mrs. William Gray, is owned by Hunsucker or Stubbs and is trained by Victor Trujillo. She has three wins in 12 starts, earnings of $36,980 and is coming off fifth in the July 8 allowance.

Isa Firecracker is by Heatseeker, out of the Tannersmyman mare Caroline Elena, was bred by owner Myles McMahon and is trained by Jamey Thomas. She has two wins in five starts, earnings of $92,505 and is coming off a ninth in the July 22 California Governor’s Cup.
