AUBURN, Wash. (July 27, 2017) – Stakes winner More Power to Him and fellow California-bred Sharkzilla are entered in Sunday’s $75,000 Emerald Downs Derby for 30-year-olds.
Sharkzilla is by Distorted Reality, out of the Moscow Ballet mare Blue Ice Shark, was bred by Roger Downes, is owned by John Parker and trained by Candi Tollett. He has two wins in nine starts, earnings of $77,634 and is coming off an eighth in the July 2 Seattle Slew.
More Power to Him is by Slew’s Tiznow, out of the Beau Genius mare Pundit, was bred by owner Brett Mason and is trained by Faith Taylor. He has three wins in 12 starts, earnings of $168,153 and is coming off a third in the July 2 Seattle Slew.
