ARCADIA, Calif. (Jan. 19, 2013) – A total of 60 California-breds or sireds have been nominated to the four restricted stakes races to be run on the Sunshine Millions card at Santa Anita on Saturday, Jan. 26.
The $300,000 California Breeders Champion Stakes for 3-year-olds has 15 nominations, including Monument, Omega Star and Weewinnin.
The $300,000 California Breeders Champion Stakes for 3-year-old fillies has 13 nominations, including Unusual Way, Tilde, Mark’s Mine and Doinghardtimeagain.
The $100,000 Crystal Water Stakes has 16 nominations, including John Scott, Summer Hit and Tribal Jewel.
The $100,000 Valentine’s Dancer Stakes has 16 nominations, including Halo Dolly, Tiz Flirtatious and A Jealous Woman (who won Saturday’s Megahertz Stakes) and defending champion Chokecherymary.
