Fly to Mars Steps Up to Del Mar Mile

DEL MAR, Calif. (Aug. 17, 2018) – California Dreamin’ winner Fly to Mars and graded-winning fellow California-breds What a View and B Squared are entered in Sunday’s $200,000 Grade II Del Mar Mile Handicap.

What a View is by Vronsky, out of the Manila mare Oceans N Mountains, was bred by Old English Rancho, Patsy Berumen and Sal Berumen, is owned by finish Line Racing, Ellwood Johnston Trust or Taste of Victory Stable and is trained by Ken Black. He has eight wins in 26 starts, earnings of $903,361 and is coming off a fifth in the July 28 California Dreamin’.

B Squared is by Square Eddie, out of the Ten most Wanted mare Silar Rules, was bred by owner Raddam Racing and is trained by Doug O’Neill. He has four wins in 19 starts, earnings of $411,698 and is coming off a third in the July 28 California Dreamin’.

Fly to Mars is by Ministers Wild Cat, out of the Doc Gus mare Warren’s Flyer, was bred by owner Gary Barber and is trained by Peter Miller. He has five wins in 14 starts, earnings of $263,358 and is coming off a win in the July 28 California Dreamin’.
