WILMINGTON, Del. (Sept. 20, 2021) – California Thoroughbred Breeders Association January Sale graduate Cashing Big Checks is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $100,000 Small Wonder Stakes for 2-year-old fillies at Delaware Park.
Cashing Big Checks is by Mr. Big, out of the Indian Charlie mare Palisadesprincess, was bred by George Krikorian, is owned by Troy Johnson and Jagger Inc. and is trained by Jamie Ness.
The $1,500 purchase at the CTBA January Sale has one win in two starts, earnings of $39,500 and is coming off a win in the Aug. 25 Blue Hen Stakes.
