ARCADIA, Calif. (Sept. 28, 2022) – Grade II winner None Above the Law and fellow California-bred Kid Corleone are entered in Saturday’s $200,000 Grade II Santa Anita Sprint Championship Stakes.
None Above the Law is by Karakontie, out of the Northern Afleet mare Legally Blanca, was bred by J. Kirk and Judy Roberson, is owned by Downstream Racing and trained by Peter Miller. He has six wins in 10 starts, earnings of $482,060 and is coming off a sixth in the Sept. 3 Del Mar Mile.
Kid Corleone is by Shackleford, out of the Indian Charlie mare Corleone, was bred by The Quarter Company, is owned by Roadrunner Racing and Barbara Evenson and is trained by Doug O’Neill. The $10,500 purchase at the CTBA January Sale has two wins in four starts, earnings of $99,900 and is coming off a fourth in an Aug. 27 optional claimer.
