ARCADIA, Calif. (Sept. 28, 2022) – Multiple graded winner Slow Down Andy is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $300,000 Grade I Awesome Again Stakes at Santa Anita, a “Win and You’re In” challenge race qualifier for the Breeders’ Cup Classic.
Slow Down Andy is by Nyquist, out of the Square Eddie mare Edwina E, was bred by owner Reddam Racing and is trained by Doug O’Neill.
He has four wins in eight starts, earnings of $783,100 and is coming off a win in the Sept. 3 Caesars Sportsbook Del Mar Derby.
