Psycho Dar Breaks Through in Harris Farms

FRESNO, Calif. (Oct. 8, 2022) – Longshot Psycho Dar’s ninth try at a black-type win was the charm when the 7-year-old gelding won Saturday’s $75,000 Harris Farms Stakes for Golden State Series-eligibles at the Big Fresno Fair.

Psycho Dar is by Storm Wolf, out of the Maria’s Mon mare Stormin Mon, was bred by Liberty Road Stables, is owned by Mary Tucker and trained by Samuel Calvario.

He has 10 wins in 38 starts, earnings of $446,266 and was coming off a Sept. 16 allowance win.

Psycho Dar ran the six furlongs in 1:09.98 and won by three lengths at odds of 10-1. Top Harbor was second and Ultimate Bango third in the field of six.
