EDMONTON, Alberta (Oct. 8, 2022) – Big Hug, an Alberta-bred daughter of California stallion Mr. Big, won Saturday’s $100,000 CTHS Sales Two-Year-Old Division Stakes for 2-year-olds at Century Mile.
A filly beating the boys, Big Hug is out of the Unusual Heat mare Temeeku. She ran the seven furlongs in 1:24.06 and won by 8 ¼ lengths as the 4-5 favorite.
