VANCOUVER, B.C. (Sept. 10, 2014) – Echo Eddie Stakes winner Alert Bay is the lone California-bred entered in Sunday’s $150,000 Grade III British Columbia Derby at Hastings Park.
Alert Bay is by City Zip, out of the Dushyantor mare Hickory, was bred by Thomas Bell & Ross McLeod, is owned by Peter Redekop and trained by Anita Bolton.
He has three wins in nine starts, earnings of $240,300 and is coming off a fifth in the Aug. 1 Real Good Deal.
