ARCADIA, Calif. (May 24, 2017) – Graded stakes winner Ambitious Brew and fellow California-bred Eddie Haskell are entered in Saturday’s $150,000 Grade III Daytona Stakes at Santa Anita.
Ambitious Brew is by Tizbud, out of the Forest Wildcat mare Kathwen, was bred by owner Pam Ziebarth and is trained by Martin Jones. He has eight wins in 23 starts, earnings of $579,425 and is coming off a second in the Apr. 23 Siren Lure.
Eddie Haskell is by Square Eddie, out of the Boston Harbor mare Teresa Ann, was bred by owner Reddam Racing and is trained by Doug O’Neill. He has three wins in 10 starts, earnings of $146,043 and is coming off a third in the Apr. 23 Siren Lure.
