Apache Princess Graded Win Reinstated

ARCADIA, Calif. (Feb. 14, 2019) – The $100,000 Sweet Life Stakes for 3-year-old fillies last Sunday will be recognized as a Grade 3 race even though the surface was switched from turf to dirt because of wet conditions, the American Graded Stakes Committee announced on Thursday, according to the Daily Racing Form.

Apache Princess, bred by owner KMN Racing, is a 3 year old California-bred daughter of Unusual Heat and becomes his 16th Graded-Group stakes winner and 36th graded stakes horse. He now has 57 stakes winners, 47 blacktype.
