Apache Princess in California Oaks

ALBANY, Calif. (Apr. 24, 2019) – Graded stakes winner Apache Princess and fellow California-breds Oh My Oh and California Canter are entered in Saturday’s $75,000 California Oaks for 3-year-old fillies at Golden Gate.

Apache Princess is by Unusual Heat, out of the Indian Charlie mare Puskita, was bred by owner KMN Racing and is trained by J.K. Desormeaux. She has three wins in eight starts, earnings of $178,311 and is coming off an eighth in the Apr. 6 Providencia.

Oh My Oh is by Comic Strip, out of the Tribal Rule mare Oh the Joy, was bred by owners Dr. & Mrs. William Gray and is trained by Quinn Howey. She has one win in seven starts, earnings of $56,256 and is coming off a third in a Mar. 28 optional claimer.

California Canter is by Fullbridled, out of the Sought After mare Carolina Grande, was bred by Daehling Ranch, is owned by Joe Daehling or Holly Evans and is trained by Evans. She has one win in three starts, earnings of $30,498 and is coming off a fourth in an Apr. 14 optional claimer.
