ARCADIA, Calif. (Feb. 15, 2020) – Graded winner Apache Princess and fellow California-bred An Eddie Surprise are entered in Monday’s $70,000 Wishing Well Stakes for fillies and mares at Santa Anita.
An Eddie Surprise is by Square Eddie, out of the High Demand mare Dani Reese, was bred by owner Reddam Racing and is trained by Doug O’Neill. She has four wins in 25 starts, earnings of $284,952 and is coming off a second in a Feb. 2 optional claimer.
Apache Princess is by Unusual Heat, out of the Indian Charlie mare Puskita, was bred by owner KMN Racing and is trained by J.K. Desormeaux. She has three wins in 16 starts, earnings of $310,162 and is coming off a third in the Jan. 18 Sunshine Millions Filly & Mare Turf Sprint.
