DEL MAR, Calif. (Aug. 15, 2018) – Millionaire California-bred Ashleyluvssugar takes a fourth crack at Saturday’s $250,000 Grade II Del Mar Handicap presented by the Japan Racing Association.
Ashleyluvssugar is by Game Plan, out of the Urgent Request mare Ashley’s Folly, was bred by owners Alesia, Bran Jam Stable or Ciaglia and is trained by Peter Eurton.
He has 10 wins in 27 starts, earnings of $1,348,694 and is coming off a sixth in the July 28 California Dreamin’. He was sixth in this race last year, won the race in 2016 and was second in 2015.
