DEL MAR, Calif. (July 23, 2018) — Barretts has cataloged 86 yearlings for its Select Yearling Sale scheduled for Tuesday, August 28. The afternoon session will begin at 2:00 p.m. at Del Mar’s Surfside Race Place.
The majority of the yearlings catalogued are eligible for the lucrative Golden State Series in addition to the California-bred/sired Maiden Bonus program. Leading California sires and major Kentucky stallions are represented, including Blame, Bluegrass Cat, Cairo Prince, Candy Ride, City Zip, Creative Cause, Grazen, Square Eddie, Street Sense, Union Rags, Violence and the final crops of Lucky Pulpit and Unusual Heat.
