LEXINGTON, Ky. (Jan. 12, 2022) – California-bred multiple stakes winner Bella Vita sold for $500,000 in Wednesday’s session of the Keeneland January Sale.
The 5-year-old daughter of Bayern, out of the Storm Cat mare Queenie Cat, was bred by Hill ‘n’ Dale Equine Holdings, was raced by Kaleem Shah and was purchased by Narvick International.
Bella Vita sold as a racing or broodmare prospect. She won the Spring Fever and Betty Grable Stakes with career earnings of $346,722.
