PHOENIX, Ariz. (May 4, 2024) – Big Bowie, a California-sired gelded son of Mr. Big, remained unbeaten by winning Saturday’s $60,000 Turf Paradise Open Spring Futurity for 2-year-olds.
Big Bowie, bred in Washington by Dr. & Mrs. Jack Root and trained by Frank Lucarelli, is out of the Artie Schiller mare Be My Baby. He has won both starts with earnings of $53,100.
He ran the five furlongs in :57.41 and won by one-half length at odds of 6-1 in a field of 10.
