Big Macher Seeks Cary Grant Repeat

DEL MAR, Calif. (Nov. 18, 2015) – Defending champion Big Macher leads a contentious field of 11 in Sunday’s $100,000 Cary Grant Stakes for Golden State Series eligibles at Del Mar.

Avanti Bello is by Include, out of the Mizzen Mast mare Masterful Lass, was bred by Lou Neve, is owned by Keh, S., Richardson, J., Suarez, P., Roberts, T. and Wonderland Racing Stables and trained by Doug O’Neill. He has two wins in six starts, earnings of $72,180 and is coming off a Nov. 6 optional claiming win.

Solid Wager is by Birdonthewire, out of the Valid Wager mare G Ma, was bred by Madera Thoroughbreds, is owned by Gary and Cecil Barber and Stanford Stables and trained by Peter Miller. He has five wins in 23 starts, earnings of $273,606 and is coming off an Oct. 8 optional claiming win.

Got Even is by Stephen Got Even, out of the Blare of Trumpets mare Kathryns Birthday, was bred by Madera Thoroughbreds, is owned by Altamira Racing, Bruce Chandler and F U Stables and is trained by Peter Miller.
