EDMONTON, Alberta (June 20, 2015) — Favored Blue Dancer, a Kentucky-bred son of California stallion Bluegrass Cat, won Saturday’s $53,404 Ky Alta Handicap for 3-year-olds at Northlands Park.
Blue Dancer is out of the Saint Ballado mare Two Halos. He has six wins in seven starts with earnings of $150,015. The multiple stakes winner’s only loss was a 10th in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile.
Blue Dancer ran the mile in 1:39.82 and won by 3 ¼ lengths at odds of 7-5.
