VANCOUVER, B.C. (June 6, 2015) – Bluegrass Angus, a Kentucky-bred son of California stallion Bluegrass Cat, won Saturday’s $50,000 River Rock Casino Handicap for 3-year-olds at Hastings Racecourse.
Bluegrass Angus ran the 6 ½ furlongs in 1:16.15 and won by 6 ¼ lengths over California-bred Sam Slick.
He has two wins in six starts with earnings of $54,633.
