Bodhisattva in Speed to Spare

EDMONTON, Alberta (Sept. 6, 2015) – Stakes winner Bodhisattva and fellow California-bred Classic Crusader are entered in Monday’s $75,000 Speed to Spare Stakes at Northlands Park.

Bodhisattva is by Student Council, out of the Talk Is Money mare Dr. Cheryl P., was bred by Andy Stronach, is owned by Jose Corrales and Pan Am Racing and is trained by Wally Pugh. He has three wins in 14 starts, earnings of $177,259 and is coming off a fourth in the Aug. 15 Canadian Derby.

Classic Crusader is by Ministers Wild Cat, out of the Lite the Fuse mare Classically Lit, was bred by George and Mary Clare Schmitt, Stan Hodge and Richard Meister and is owned by trainer Tom Rycroft. He has 14 wins in 49 starts, earnings of $154,786 and is coming off an Aug. 15 optional claiming win.
