ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (Sept. 6, 2015) – Northern California Yearling Sale graduate Tip Top Lady is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $55,000 Casino at The Downs Handicap for 3-year-old fillies at Albuquerque.
Tip Top Lady is by Marino Marini, out of the Lord Carson mare Sharoana, was bred by George Schmitt, is owned by Richard Meister and George and Mary Clare Schmitt and is trained by Jose Silva.
The $13,000 Northern California Yearling Sale purchase has two wins in seven starts, earnings of $43,340 and is coming off a fourth in the June 21 Pleasanton Oaks.
