FRESNO, Calif. (Oct. 6, 2018) — Bold Fantasy outdueled favored Fashionably Fast to the wire for a head win in Saturday’s $100,000 Harris Farms Stakes for Golden State Series eligible at the Fresno Fair.
Bold Fantasy is by Bertrando, out of the Rock Hard Ten mare Fantasy Rocks, was bred by Steve and Maria Pavich and is trained by Jonathan Wong.
He has seven wins in 37 starts, earnings of $316,735 and was coming off a third in an Aug. 25 optional claimer.
Bold Fantasy ran the six furlongs in 1:10.67 and went off at odds of 5-2 in the field of six. Fashionably Fast was second and Isa Firecracker third. Millionaire Masochistic, who came out of retirement for the race, finished fifth.
