ARCADIA, Calif. (Jan. 15, 2022) – California stallion Box Score was represented by his first winner when Hail Freedom won the fourth race at Santa Anita, a maiden special weight on the turf.
Hail Freedom, a 4-year-old colt, is out of the Good Journey mare Susan B Good, was bred by owner Ed Delaney and trained by Doug O’Neill.
The 1-2 favorite ran the six furlongs on turf in 1:08.48 and won by 1 ¼ lengths in a field of seven. In nine starts, Box Score has earnings of $122,900.
