ARCADIA, Calif. (Dec. 22, 2023) – Top California-bred sprinter Brickyard Ride stretches out to 1 1/16 miles in Tuesday’s $200,000 Grade II San Antonio Stakes at Santa Anita.
Brickyard Ride is by Clubhouse Ride, out of the Southern Image mare Brickyard Helen, was bred by owner Alfred Pais and is trained by Craig Lewis.
He has 13 wins in 29 starts, earnings of $871,477 and is coming off a fourth in the Oct. 15 California Flag. His graded wins have come in the 6 1/2-furlong Kona Gold Stakes (twice) and the seven-furlong San Carlos.
