CHARLES TOWN, W. Va. (Apr. 18, 2021) — Brigintine Island, a West Virginia-bred daughter of California stallion Jersey Town, won Saturday’s $76,250 Original Gold Stakes for fillies and mares at Charles Town Races.
Brigintine Island, out of the Langfuhr mare Deli Lama, has six wins in 22 starts with earnings of $163,479.
She won by seven lengths and ran the seven furlongs in 1:26.55 and went off at odds of 3-1 in a field of 10.
