LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 5, 2018) – California-bred broodmares Maggie McGowan and Majestic Heat, in foal to popular Kentucky stallions, sold for mid-six figures at Sunday’s Fasig-Tipton November Sale.
Maggie McGowan, in foal to Arrogate, sold for $775,000 to SF Bloodstock. Majestic Heat, in foal to Uncle Mo, sold for $625 to Mike Ryan, Agent.
Maggie McGowan, a half-sister to millionaire Cal-bred Evening Jewel, is the dam of Grade I winner Denman’s Call. She was bred by Golden Eagle Investment.
Majestic Heat, a full-sister to stakes winner Mensa Heat, was a Grade II winner of $578,329. She was bred by Madeline Auerbach and Barry Abrams.
