Cal-bred Filly Trio in Surfer Girl

ARCADIA, Calif. (Oct. 6, 2022) – California-breds Sell the Dream, Court Snort and Cast Member are entered in Sunday’s $200,000 Grade III Surfer Girl Stakes for 2-year-old fillies at Santa Anita.

Sell the Dream is by Munnings, out of the Run Away and Hide mare Enayat Alsalam, was bred by PT Syndicate #1, is owned by Brown, Klein & Lebherz and is trained by Brian Koriner. She has one win in three starts, earnings of $87,260 and is coming off a second in the Sept. 10 Del Mar Juvenile Fillies Turf.

Court Snort is by Stay Thirsty, out of the Stravinsky mare Frysland, was bred by John Haagsma and Don Hallmark, is owned by Haagsma, Hallmark and Robert Vanderdussen and is trained by Sergio Morfin. She has one win in five starts, earnings of $73,146 and is coming off a fifth in the Sept. 10 Del Mar Juvenile Fillies Turf.

Cast Member is by Munnings, out of the Artie Schiller mare Be My Baby, was bred by owner George Krikorian and is trained by Tim Yakteen. She won her lone start Sept. 3 with earnings of $48,000.
