Cal-bred Ghostzapper Filly Brings $185,000

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept 18, 2023) – A California-bred daughter of perennial top stallion Ghostzapper sold for $185,000 at Monday’s session of the Keeneland September Yearling Sale.

The May foal, out of the stakes-placed Maclean’s Music mare Consulting, was bred by consigner Glen Hill Farm and purchased by Quarter Pole Enterprises.

Also on Monday, a Kentucky-foaled son of California stallion Om sold for $90,000 to Alistair Roden, agent. He is out of the El Prado mare Fresia, is a half-brother to multiple stakes-winning Cal-bred Galilean and was bred by Bar C Racing Stable, breeder of Galilean.
