LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 10, 2021) — A pair of stakes-winning California-bred mares were six-figure purchases at Wednesday’s opening session of the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale.
Super Patriot, a 6-year-old daughter of Unusual Heat, out of the Redattore mare Patriot C H, sold for $300,000 to Woodford Thoroughbreds. Super Patriot, who earned $371,554 on the track, was bred by Harris Farms and is in foal to Gun Runner.
Sircat Sally, a 7-year-old daughter of Surf Cat, out of the In Excess mare Sister Sally, sold for $150,000 to Joel Hunsberger. Sircat Sally, who earned 552,860 on the track, was bred by Joe Turner and is in foal to Munnings.
