Cal-bred Pair Enters Princess of Palms

PHOENIX, Ariz. (Feb. 12, 2023) – California-breds Toby’s Candy and Don’t Get Pickled are entered in Saturday’s $60,000 Princess of Palms Stakes for 3-year-old fillies at Turf Paradise.

Toby’s Candy is by Danzing Candy, out of the Henny Hughes mare Myfourchix, was bred by Dianne Bashor, is owned by Steve Haahr, John Perry and Lynn Perry and is trained by Jeffrey Metz. She won her lone start Jan. 23 with earnings of $9,880.

Don’t Get Pickled is by Misremembered, out of the Successful Appeal mare C C’s Pride, was bred by Harry & Cheryl Keshian, is owned by Stable H.M.A. and is trained by Miguel Hernandez. She has one win in five starts, earnings of $31,967 and is coming off a second in the Jan. 28 ATBA 3-Year-Old Summer Sales Stakes.
