INGLEWOOD, Calif. (Dec. 4, 2013) – California-breds Warren’s Veneda and Curvy Cat, 1-2 finishers in the recent Cat’s Cradle, are entered in Saturday’s $150,000 Grade II Bayakoa Handicap for fillies and mares at Betfair Hollywood Park.
Warren’s Veneda is by Affirmative, out of the Flying Continental mare More Cal Bread, was bred by owner Benjamin Warren and is trained by Craig Lewis. She has five wins in 10 starts, earnings of $282,064 and is coming off a win in the Nov. 17 Cat’s Cradle.
Curvy Cat is by Ministers Wild Cat, out of the Distorted Humor mare Curvy Girl, was bred by owner Tommy Town Thoroughbreds and is trained by Jerry Hollendorfer. She has seven wins in 21 starts, earnings of $292,425 and is coming off a second in the Nov. 17 Cat’s Cradle.
