Unusual Americaine in Gold Rush

ALBANY, Calif. (Dec. 4, 2013) – Unusual Americaine is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $75,000 Gold Rush Stakes for 2-year-olds at Golden Gate.

Unusual Americaine is by Unusual Heat, out of the Loup Solitaire mare Riche Americaine, was bred by William Preston, is owned by Malibu Valley Farms, Prestonwood Racing and William Morey and is trained by Morey.

He has one win in three starts, earnings of $33,460 and is coming off a second in the Nov. 9 Golden Nugget Stakes.
