Cal-bred Pair in Berkeley

                ALBANY, Calif. (Nov. 23, 2016) – Multiple graded stakes winners Tamarando and G. G. Ryder are entered in Saturday’s $100,000 Grade III Berkeley Handicap at Golden Gate.

                Tamarando is by Bertrando, out of the Dehere mare Tamarack Bay, was bred by owners Mr. and Mrs. Larry Williams and is trained by Jeff Bonde. He has four wins in 28 starts, earnings of $703,078 and is coming off a third in the Sept. 5 Rolling Green. He was fourth in this race last year.

                G. G. Ryder is by Chhaya Dance, out of the Storm Boot mare Stormy Gigi, was bred by Eagle Oak Ranch, is owned by Jerry Hollendorfer or George Todaro and is trained by Hollendorfer. He has 11 wins in 30 starts, earnings of $471,627 and is coming off a second in the Oct. 16 Bull Dog. He was third in this race last year and second in 2014.
