Cal-bred Pair in Distaff Starter Stakes

VANCOUVER, B.C. (Sept. 10, 2014) – California-breds Sacred Delight and Jaz Unlimited are entered in Sunday’s $50,000 Champions Distaff Starter Series Final Stakes for fillies and mares at Hastings Park.

Sacred Delight is by Mutakddim, out of the Eltish mare Barbara O’Brien, was bred by Al and Saundra Kirkwood, is owned by Whieldon Thoroughbreds and trained by Rosann Anderson. She has four wins in 15 starts, earnings of $119,536 and is coming off a fourth in an Aug. 29 starter’s allowance.

Jaz Unlimited is by Jazil, out of the Straight Man mare Sister Shark, was bred by E-Racing.com, is owned by Gary Williamson and trained by Steve Henson. She has two wins in 23 starts, earnings of $41,872 and is coming off a third in an Aug. 29 starter’s allowance.
