Cal-bred Pair in Santa Anita Sprint

ARCADIA, Calif. (Oct. 4, 2017) – California-breds Mr. Hinx and Edwards Going Left are entered in Saturday’s $300,000 Grade I Santa Anita Sprint Championship.

Multiple stakes winner Mr. Hinx is by Ministers Wild Cat, out of the Put It Back mare Kitten Exchange, was bred by owner Gary Barber and is trained by Steve Miyadi. He has five wins in nine starts, earnings of $338,548 and is coming off a fourth in the Aug. 26 Pat O’Brien. He also is entered in Saturday’s Harris Farms Stakes at Fresno.

Edwards Going Left is by Midnight Lute, out of the Broken Vow mare Dypsy, was bred by Red Baron’s Barn and VayaCon Suerte, is owned by Hronis Racing and trained by John Sadler. He has four wins in six starts, earnings of $132,705 and is coming off an Aug. 19 optional claiming win.
