Cal-bred Quartet in Golden Nugget

ALBANY, Calif. (Nov. 7, 2018) – California-breds Daddy Jones, Midnight Special, Tribal War Chant and Tivan are entered in Saturday’s $50,000 Golden Nugget Stakes for 2-year-olds at Golden Gate.

Daddy Jones is by Daddy Nose Best, out of the Smarty Jones mare Rachel Jones, was bred by BG Stables, is owned by George Lopez and trained by William Delia.

Midnight Special is by Vronsky, out of the Yes It’s True mare Lost Prophet, was bred by Donald Muldoon, is owned by James Eaton, Maria Hess or Muldoon and is trained by R.B. Hess Sr.

Tribal War Chant is by Slew’s Tiznow, out of the Tribal Rule mare Tribal Feathers, was bred by Curt & Lila Lanning, is owned by Moger or Andy Miller and is trained by Ed Moger Jr.

Tivan is by Indian Evening, out of the Precocity mare Zak’s Precocious, was bred by owner KMN Racing and is trained by Jerry Hollendorfer.
