Cal-bred Quartet in Oak Tree Sprint

PLEASANTON, Calif. (July 1, 2016) – California-breds Bold Fantasy, Hypnatique, Cartoonist and My Friend Emma take on millionaire Grade I winner Sahara Sky in Monday’s $50,000 Oak Tree Sprint at Oak Tree at Pleasanton.

Bold Fantasy is by Bertrando, out of the Rock Hard Ten mare Fantasy Rocks, was bred by Steve and Maria Pavich, is owned by Curt & Lila Lanning and is trained by Ed Moger Jr. He has five wins in 24 starts, earnings of $213,487 and is coming off a sixth in the June 11 Albany.

Hypnatique is by Scat Daddy, out of the Genuine Guy mare More Mascara, was bred by owners Rhianon Farms and Gloria Haley and is trained by Haley. He has five wins in 19 starts, earnings of $147,960 and is coming off a ninth in the June 11 Albany.

Cartoonist is by Comic Strip, out of the Devil On Ice mare Ivy Lane, was bred by Dr. and Mrs. William Gray, is owned by Scott Herbertson and is trained by Jonathan Wong. He has five wins in 14 starts, earnings of $114,720 and is coming off a May 30 allowance win.

My Friend Emma is by Tannersmyman, out of the Artax mare Ma Ka Bet, was bred by Jim Eaton, is owned by Rosa Camacho or Gerardo Robles and is trained by Monty Meier. He has three wins in nine starts, earnings of $89,726 and is coming off a fourth in the June 11 Albany.
