Cal-bred Quartet Vies in Zia Park Stakes

HOBBS, N.M. (Nov. 15, 2022) – Four California-breds are entered in stakes races on Tuesday’s card at Zia Park.

Mr. Paytience is entered in the $75,000 Zia Park Sprint. Misfired and Diamonds Danzing are entered in the $75,000 Zia Park Princess Stakes for 2-year-old fillies. Ohhh Daddy is entered in the $75,000 Zia Park Juvenile Stakes for 2-year-olds.

Mr. Paytience is by Paynter, out of the Yes It’s True mare Kantstopdancin, was bred by Ballena Vista Farm, is owned by Masino Racing Stable and trained by Bart Hone. He has five wins in 28 starts, earnings of $203,392 and is coming off a third in the Oct. 29 Roadrunner.

Misfired is by Misremembered, out of the Stormin Fever mare Filly on Fire, was bred by Richard Barton Enterprises, is owned by Terri Rust and Rusty Wire Racing and is trained by Rust. She has two wins in three starts, earnings of $13,644 and is coming off an 11th in the Sept. 18 Marzano Stakes.

Diamonds Danzing is by Danzing Candy, out of the Giant’s Causeway mare Temper, was bred by H & E Ranch, is owned by Jeremy Ramsland and trained by Miguel Hernandez. She is a maiden making her fifth start with earnings of $24,640.

Ohhh Daddy is by Dads Caps, out of the Pioneering mare Wedding in Sorano, was bred by Richard Barton Enterprises and Robert Traynor, is owned by Terri Rust and Rusty Wire Racing and is trained by Rust. He has one win in three starts, earnings of $7,680 and is coming off a ninth in the Sept. 18 Marzano Stakes.
