HALLANDALE BECH, Fla. (Mar. 30, 2022) – A California-bred Nyquist 2-year-old colt sold for $700,000 at Wednesday’s Fasig-Tipton Gulfstream Sale.
The colt, out of the Fusaichi Pegasus mare Soul Crusader, was bred by Bud Petrosian, consigned by Classic Bloodstock, agent, and purchased by Gary Young, agent for Zedan Racing.
The colt was purchased for $275,000 at last year’s Fasig-Tipton California Yearlsing Sale. He is a half-brother to the stakes-placed There Goes Harvard, second in the Runhappy Ellis Park Derby last year and earner of $144,290.
