Cal-bred Trio Enters Bull Dog at Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (Oct. 12, 2023) – California-bred geldings Love Candy and Druidic and the Cal-bred filly Glorious Spring are entered in Sunday’s $75,000 Bull Dog Stakes at the Big Fresno Fair.

Love Candy is by Danzing Candy, out of the Tapizar mare Love Winning, was bred by Stuart Tsujimoto, is owned by Mary Tucker and trained by Samuel Calvario. He has five wins in 20 starts, earnings of $150,274 and is coming off an Oct. 2 claiming win.

Druidic is by Boisterous, out of the Rocky Bar mare Shared Image, was bred by owner Robert Traynor and is trained by D. Wayne Baker. He has three wins in 13 starts, earnings of $50,970 and is coming off a fifth in the Sept. 4 Sam Spear Memorial.

Glorious Spring is by Grazen, out of the Candy Ride mare Maziette, was bred by owner Harris Farms and is trained by Dan Blacker. She has three wins in nine starts, earnings of 153,580 and is coming off an eighth in the Aug. 25 Solana Beach.
