ARCADIA, Calif. (Dec. 22, 2015) – California-breds Reckless Charm, Coniah and Skye Diamonds are entered in Sunday’s $75,000 Blue Norther Stakes for 2-year-old fillies at Santa Anita.
Reckless Charm is by Unusual Heat, out of the Indian Charlie mare Lottawampum, was bred by Edward Mercaldo, is owned by DP Racing and is trained by James Cassidy. She has one win in six starts, earnings of $54,468 and is coming off a fifth in the Nov. 1 Pike Place Dancer.
Coniah is by Harlington, out of the Lord At War mare Pretti Woman, was bred by James and Tammy McKenney and is trained by Carla Gaines. She has two wins in six starts, earnings of $35,970 and is coming off a fifth in the Nov. 28 Golden Gate Debutante
Skye Diamonds is by First Dude, out of the Johannesburg mare Exonerated, was bred by Dizney Double Diamond, is owned by Donald Dizney and trained by Mike Machowsky. She has one win in two starts, earnings of $38,200 and is coming off a Dec. 5 maiden win.
