Cal-bred Trio in Island Fashion

SUNLAND PARK, N.M. (Feb. 23, 2015) – California-breds Sweet Bea, Mc Hottie and L J’s Awesome Girl are entered in Friday’s $75,000 Island Fashion Overnight Stakes for 3-year-old fillies at Sunland Park.

Sweet Bea is by Grace Upon Grace, out of the Gilded Time mare Sweet Elite, was bred by Terry Lovingier, is owned by Jeff Plotkin and trained by Justin Evans. She has one win in six starts, earnings of $27,880 and is coming off a third in a Jan. 1 allowance.

Mc Hottie is by Ministers Wild Cat, out of the Mr. Greeley mare Gender Motors, was bred by owner Tommy Town Thoroughbreds and is trained by Henry Dominguez. She has one win in eight starts, earnings of $30,030 and is coming off a Jan. 16 maiden win.

L J’s Awesome Girl is by Awesome Gambler, out of the In Excess mare Excessive Girl, was bred by Terry Lovingier, is owned by A and A Equine and EC Racing and is trained by Justin Evans. She has two wins in five starts, earnings of $27,662 and is coming off a second in a Jan. 1 allowance.
