Cal-bred Trio in Midnight Lute

                ARCADIA, Calif. (Dec. 28, 2016) – California-breds Solid Wager, Jimmy Bouncer and Tough Sunday are entered in Friday’s $100,000 Midnight Lute Stakes at Santa Anita.

                Tough Sunday is by Grazen, out of the General Meeting mare Sunday Dress, was bred by owner Nick Alexander and is trained by Steve Miyadi. He has three wins in 13 starts, earnings of $180,938 and is coming off a win in a Sept. 24 optional claimer.

                Solid Wager is by Birdonthewire, out of the Valid Wager mare G Ma, was bred by Madera Thoroughbreds, is owned by Barber, Barber or Stanford Stables and trained by Peter Miller. He has seven wins in 30 starts, earnings of $429,921 and is coming off a win in the Nov. 20 Cary Grant.

                Jimmy Bouncer is by Square Eddie, out of the General Meeting mare Meetmeinthewoods, was bred by owner Reddam Racing and trained by Doug O’Neill. He has six wins in 10 starts, earnings of $320,990 and is coming off consecutive wins.
