Cal-bred Trio in Rolling Green

ALBANY, Calif. (Aug. 29, 2014) – California-breds Pepper Crown, Salah Champ and Huntsville are entered in Monday’s $50,000 Rolling Green Stakes at Golden Gate.

Pepper Crown is by Peppered Cat, out of the Crowning Storm mare Crown This Lady, was bred by owner and trainer Alex Paszkeicz. He has five wins in 13 starts, earnings of $171,483 and is coming off a fourth in the Aug. 3 Joseph T. Grace.

Salah Champ is by Benchmark, out of the Cutlass Reality mare Morell’s Love, was bred by Salah Said Al-Mudarris, is owned by Janet Hollendorfer, Mark Schlaich and George Todaro and is trained by Jerry Hollendorfer. He has eight wins in 21 starts, earnings of $169,710 and is coming off consecutive wins.

Huntsville is by Unusual Heat, out of the Jade Hunter mare Lethal Hunter, was bred by David Abrams & Madeline Auerbach, is owned by Barry Abrams & Madeline Auerbach and is trained by Barry Abrams. He has three wins in 40 starts, earnings of $299,080 and is coming off a fifth in the July 4 American Flag.
