Cal-bred Trio in Wilshire

ARCADIA, Calif. (June 21, 2018) – Stakes winners Cordiality and Bella Luma and fellow California-bred are entered in Sunday’s $100,000 Grade III Wilshire Stakes for fillies and mares at Santa Anita.

Shehastheritestuff is by Unusual Heat, out of the Bold Badgett mare Strut Your Stuff, was bred by Old English Rancho, is owned by Day, Day or DePietro, et al and is trained by Patrick Gallagher. He has four wins in 13 starts, earnings of $206,365 and is making her first start since an Aug. 30 optional claimer.

Cordiality is by Papa Clem, out of the Unusual Heat mare Warmth, was bred by Dr. Edward Allred, is owned by Drummand, Glatt or Zitco and is trained by Mark Glatt. She has eight wins in 21 starts, earnings of $316,095 and is coming off a win in the May 19 Fran’s Valentine.

Bella Luma is by Ministers Wild Cat, out of the Bold Badgett mare Bold Roberta, was bred by Thomas Bachman, is owned by Bachman or Brown and is trained by Ed Moger Jr. She has four wins in 13 starts, earnings of $136,317 and is coming off a win in the May 12 Golden Poppy.
