Cal-bred Yearling Sells for $560,000

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 8, 2014) – A full California-bred brother to graded stakes winners Points Offthebench and Bench Points sold for $560,000 Monday in the first session of the Keeneland September Yearling Sale.

The Benchmark colt, out of the Free House mare Mo Chuisle, was bred by Gary Broad, consigned by Taylor Made Sales, agent, and purchased by Lael Stable of Roy and Gretchen Jackson.

Also sold Monday was a pair of yearlings out of Grade I-winning California-bred mares.

A Tapit filly out of the Grade I winning Bold Badgett mare Leave Me Alone sold for $400,000 and an Unbridled’s Song filly out of the Grade I winning Game Plan mare Mistical Plan sold for $190,000.
