Cal-breds Line Up for Thor’s Echo

ARCADIA, Calif. (June 11, 2019) – Recent winner Fire When Ready and comebackers Smokey Image and Smiling Angelo are among the entries in Saturday’s $100,000 Thor’s Echo Handicap for Golden State Series eligible at Santa Anita.

Coil Me Home is by Coil, out of the Came Home mare Goodtobehome, was bred by owners GGG Stables and trained by Richard Baltas. He has two wins in nine starts, earnings of $122,769 and is coming off a third in a May 4 optional claimer.

Prodigal Son is by Square Eddie, out of the In Excess mare Stretchinthelimits, was bred by owner Reddam Racing and is trained by Doug O’Neill. He has one win in five starts, earnings of $47,742 and is coming off a seventh in a June 7 optional claimer.

Tap the Wire is by Eddington, out of the Tapit mare Tap the Till, was bred by owners John or Allegra Ernst and is trained by Daniel Dunham. He has two wins in five starts, earnings of $95,493 and is coming off a fifth in a May 27 optional claimer.
